Welcome to the Scientific Inquiry through Plants (Sip³) project

Sip³ is being developed as a scientific learning/research resource, bringing together students, plant scientists, and teachers from across the nation. Students engage in hands-on research (inquiry) projects, working with peers and scientist mentors to build collaborative relationships and improve their understanding of science.

We have just completed our final "proof of concept" pilot. Over the summer we will update the site based on what we have learned, and from information provided by those who have participated in the project.

In the fall we will bring a new look and name to the site: PlantingScience.

Here on our home page you will find links taking you to information about the project and to those used to navigate the site.
